I had wanted to try this place for a while. For one reason or another, I only had my car inspected here and never had any major work done. The men are all friendly and they now have one younger girl working there. The other women always came across cold to me. I had my car towed to this place to finally to give them a try. It was kept overnight, which is not a big deal because I was warned that they wouldn’t get to it that day. The next morning, I walked over to give them a spare key I had. The key was a Walmart backup, nothing fancy compared to the dealer fob. By the time I walked home, I got a phone call that the spare key had worked. I paid them the $106 bucks for them to say my spare key worked and the fob didn’t. They said they programmed the key but that didn’t work. The dealer said that if they had programmed it, it would work. To me, I wasted my money. The guys at Walmart spent about 2 hours swapping the battery, charging my own battery and went above and beyond to help me. This place was just a major disappointment and I will no longer be recommending anyone to them at all. I get that it’s the mechanics time but I have gone to numerous places where common courtesy won me over.
We are very sorry you are disappointed with the repair to your vehicle. We strive to satisfy all of our customer and regret when we fall short. We did our very best to perform the requested repair and make your vehicle start again for you. We understood your desire to save money, and that is why we made the recommendations we did. Programing both keys would have costed double the amount, and since the dealer fob wasn't working, we elected to just program the key we knew was accepted by the vehicle computer. Again, please accept our apology for your disappointment, and we wish you the best.
