We took an old van we had purchased to Dealer Alternative Auto Care (DAAC). They had the bad news of telling us all that was needed work. They found the parts for a 2002 Chevy Van and installed them with no problem. They are very honest people here. We have been back and will come back as needed. I would recommend DAAC to anyone that wants to know the work is done, safely and completely done.

Took my Land Cruiser in for a check up- they gave me a ride to another appointment while my car was checked out. Excellent diagnostic tools- very fair rates. Everyone was friendly and helpful and professional! . This is my new car care place.

These people are a rarity in the auto repair biz- they are HONEST, fairly priced and very much customer friendly. Took care of my car and shuttled me back and forth to an appointment while I waited. This is my new go to for all of my cars.

I’m young and usually when I go into mechanics they treat me like I’m dumb but this place is amazing! There are a good amount of women that work here too so that was refreshing. I didn’t really get a great explanation of what was happening but I guess that’s what google is for lol. Prices were pretty good comparatively speaking and they also offer a shuttle service which I’ve never seen anywhere else do before. I strongly recommend at least checking them out to take your car in for regular work.

I had avoided preventative maintenance (other than oil changes and tires) for quite awhile. I had them assess what needed to be done to get caught up. I felt they were fair in their estimate and didn't try to seek more than was necessary. They completed the work promptly. Our advisor Mary was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Here is my story, I took my vehicle in to get a tune-up and some general maintenance checks before I leave the state. They found that my serpentine belt/adjuster and thermostat needed to be replaced. Once I got the vehicle back, I got about halfway home when my engine started to overheat. So, I called them to let them know, and limped my vehicle back to them. It turned out to not be their fault at all because of a defect in a gasket to my coolant line. Not only did they correct the issue with no charge added, I got my vehicle back on the same day. If I weren't leaving, this would definitely be the shop that I would continue to bring my vehicle to.

I believe that my 2005 4WD Toyota Tundra with 203k miles on the odometer has an excellent chance of at least 50k more as long as Dealer Alternative is around. The combination of competent staff and people at the front desk who are a pleasure to deal with means (a) things that need to be fixed get fixed and stay fixed and (b) the whole experience is fair and friendly. Would recommend.
