The ladies behind the desk was outstanding, the car was repair quickly. The part was over priced. Could got the same starter for my car $100 cheaper and other brands for 150 plus cheaper. What really upset me is that they take their customers to a cleaning by changing them all a HazMat change of $12.28. Where is the HazMat in replacing a starter for a car? What is the hazardous materials (HazMat) in replacing a starter for a car? Then another $7.50 for shop supplies. When I ask, could not get a good answer to what the shop supplies were. One answer was gloves. So every customer get taken for the $12.28 plus the $7.50 in addition to the cost of the parts. In short still looking for a good shop like Luke Wester Automotive was before he sold out.
Super sorry you were displeased with our pricing. We provide all of our customers an estimate for repair prior to doing any work. If you are unhappy with our estimate you can take it elsewhere if you desire. That is always your option. No hard feelings. Shop Supplies and Hazardous Material Disposal fees are charged as a percentage of all tickets as a means to recoup expenses incurred for all sorts of things. It's an industry standard. A starter does indeed need to be disposed of. Thanks so much for your review. We wish you the best of luck in your search for another repair shop that will work on your 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo.
