I was impressed by my first experience with Dealer Alternative, so when the need arose a couple of months later with a different vehicle, I decided to call on them again. This time it was an electrical issue that stopped the vehicle from running. Apparently it required a special diagnostic test to determine the source of the problem, a 300$ test. This was surprising, since this high price was only to FIND the problem, not to repair it. It just so happens that I'm an MRI Technologist and I perform very expensive diagnostic tests to determine the source of problems, so I get it. I can appreciate the value of being precise, and the fact that there's a cost associated with that. After a short time the problem was found and repaired, a fuse, I didn't remember if they actually charged me for it, if so, it was unnoticeable. I absolutely HATE guessing at what's wrong with something/someone. Sucks when doctors do it, being in diagnostics, knowing for sure what's wrong is absolutely essential to a good outcome. Well done y'all, I'll be back to have you precisely address the next auto issue that comes my way. I appreciate the professionalism, and the good treatment my wife and I receive when we speak face to face. Also, good on you for keeping the customer informed, and communicating through text and email with details, that's extremely helpful and ahead of the curve in your business.
