I like the folks at Dealer Alternative quite well and hope to make them my regular choice when my older model Tundra needs maintenance or repair. What I found so bothersome about the regular corporate dealer shop (in Austin) was the practice of padding of invoices for repair and maintenance services by charging inflated list prices for parts, and upselling of needless services. I'll be thrilled to avoid both of those at Dealer Alternative. That and the chance to say 'hi' to Jill and Thomas makes all the difference. Well-run shop with competent staff. Like.

I used to be a loyal fan of my local Honda dealership. However, they always found something that needed to be replaced. I’ve gone to Dealer Alternative for a second opinion and twice they determined I didn’t need a replacement. They even took me under my car to show specifically the issue in question. They are now my “go to” repair shop as this last visit they determined I didn’t need to replace brake pads. They simply cleaned them.
